May is gone and the Summer is rapidly approaching! Already!
This is a lovely time of the year and I always enjoy the gentle transition from one season to the next!
Following the annual Sands Family tour in Germany, I spent a couple of very interesting weeks in The Holy Land, playing at The Jacob's Ladder Folk Festival, an independently run annual event which takes place on the shores of The Sea of Galilee. It is a great gathering of Folk enthusiasts from far beyond the borders of Israel, with many impromptu sessions in addition to well organised events on a number of stages.
Just after that, I passed a few very pleasant days in South West England. It was my first trip to Cornwall and Devon and I was well impressed by the stunning scenery as well as by the warmth of all the folks I met on my rambles.
Now I will take things a bit more quietly for a while ... but not for long!
