Sad news from Germany - good friend Gerhard Jilg from Lahnau passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 23 after a short illness. Gerhard and Anne Jilg have come to many "Sands" concerts in the past number of years, often travelling many, many kilometres in all weathers. I was honoured to sing a song at Gerhard's funeral on December 5. He will be sorely missed and long remembered by Anne, Tobias and his many, many friends.
