Hard to believe that the first quarter of 2013 has whizzed past already!
After a very pleasant Christmas time with daughter Kellie in Salamanca, Spain, my New Year got off to a great musical start when the Sands Family played a memorable concert in Dublin’s historic Christchurch Cathedral, with Martin Hayes & Denis Cahill, as part of Tradfest 2013. In February and March I played several very enjoyable concerts in Germany, including three gigs on and around St Patrick’s Day with Robbie Doyle, Bríd Ní Cathain and other stalwart “Berlin-Irish”.
A memorable solo concert in Berlin’s Borsigturm was recorded - and may be used in evidence later in the year, in the form of a new “Live in Berlin” CD … watch this space!
Now in the midst of Sands Family Tour in Germany and enjoying meeting old and new friends, as always!
